Features of the Time Timer® 8" RETRO – Eco Edition
- Recycled Construction: Each Time Timer® 8" RETRO – Eco Edition timer repurposes materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or even in flames. In particular, we use rice husks—otherwise known as hulls—that many farmers discard once the rice is ready to harvest. Rather than letting this biowaste go to waste, we incorporate it into this visual timer's design.
- Visual Time Representation: Just like our other Time Timer products, the 8" Retro Eco features a colored disk that gradually disappears as time elapses. It provides a visual cue that helps users manage their time more effectively. The Original 8" Retro Eco promotes focus, productivity, and mindfulness when used in classrooms, offices, or homes.
- Less Plastic: In addition to the eco-friendly rice husks used in the timer itself, the Time Timer® 8" RETRO Eco timer uses less plastic overall. For this edition, we removed the plastic lens that usually covers the disk, lowering the use of plastics. This also grants easy access to the disk in case a repair is necessary.
