I am a PhD student with ADHD and Autism and I've been in love with the 60 minute timers for a few years now. Recently, a colleague introduced me to these 20 minute timers specifically for starting tasks and I definitely have a new favorite! I've purchased 3 of these in the last couple months and I've been recommending them to everyone I know. These are portable, they have sound control, and they're really perfect for getting started because 5 minutes doesn't look like no time at all on these, so they're great for forcing yourself to stop an activity on 5-10 minutes as well as doing an activity you don't like for just 5-10 minutes.
