    great for special education

    I love this timer. I especially love that the battery screws on so my students can't get at the battery. This is the most durable of the time timers that I have used.

    Ticking difference from PLUS edition?

    How is this version different from the PLUS edition in regards to the ticking sound - does this one have a louder ticking sound ?

    I’m looking for.a timer with ticking sound. Ideally that can be turned on and off.

    We love the MOD timer + Dry Erase Board along with just about all the timers! I have been asked what the "MOD" stands for/means. Not a high priority question, just curious!

    Hi Karla! There are two main differences between this and the Sprint Edition. One difference is that the Sprint Edition includes a quick start guide to the SPRINT process developed by Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky. While the MOD Education Edition does not come with the SPRINT Quick Start Guide, instead the MOD Education Edition comes with a code to redeem a free personal download of the Time Timer Desktop App, which is the perfect addition to the classroom!

    how many times is it supposed to ring upon completion?

    It's simple to operate but should still have come with some explanations. How is it supposed to behave at the end of the timed period? Mine sometimes rings twice between brief intervals, sometimes several times, sometimes seemingly indefinitely. This unreliability is annoying.
